Question

June 10, 2008

Okay.  This is for all of you out there who are parents and/or babysitters.  When Kirk and I have gone out in the past, we’ve left around Zoe’s dinnertime (5:30pm) and have returned before 11pm.  My question is, are we responsible for providing dinner for the babysitter, or is the babysitter responsible for thinking ahead and either eating before babysitting (that’s one early dinner) or bringing something to eat for dinner?

Let me know what you think!

mmm. you’ve got me thinking. we’ve had a sitter a few times at 6 and I never even considered having dinner available. I always say “help yourself to whatever’s in the kitchen” but that’s about it.

After many years of doing this I strongly feel you should provide babysitter’s you’re related to with filet mignon, lobster, Fresh Market corn souffle’ and a whole Aunt Francis’ carrot cake. Non-related folks can just wing it. Just one man’s opinion.

See you in Vegas! Go Jared!

    Love ya!
